My name is Newton and I am a 14 year old Irish Setter, Lab mix. I was rescued from the dog pound when I was about 3 months old. I am really grateful of my people Bill and Joan and I have been a source of entertainment, joy and companionship for them. I have two siblings my younger brother Jake who is 10 and tips the scales at 87 pounds (What a catch in bass terms) and "E" (That's another story). I lost my older sis Stephanie who was 15 when she died. Stephanie was born in Ohio, was really fuzzy and shed a lot, she couldn't hear too well either, daddy called her deaf Steph. Jake was born in Rosyln, NY and has a big learning disability. My mommy says "if you don't have any thing nice to say don't say anything", but Jake is such a dope. He big and fat and farts a whole lot. We got Jake after my daddy's boss couldn't keep him any more. He has been in our household for 5 or so years (Five too many I say). So any way I guess I should give the dope a break. So what is the story on that "E" thing. Well that "E" thing is a Black and White Australian Shepherd. His original name was Black, then Blackie, stinkie, stumpie, aussie, punkie you get it... So Daddy just calls him "E" for short.

That's all for now, back to my beauty sleep.

My name is Stephanie.  I am a collie husky mix and Fifteen years old.  I was born in Ohio in 1985 and was the only one in the litter.  My canine mommy rejected me when I was a couple of weeks old.  That's when my human mommy, Joan took me and brought me to New York.  While growing up I was called an urban termite for chewing holes in the kitchen walls.  I weight ?? pounds (a lady never tells).  I don't need anyone's help. (except up and down stairs)  I don't like my feet being touched or the the wind blowing on my ears.

When I was younger I modeled for my next door neighbor who was an artist.  (I never saw any of that money, move over Gary Coleman).  I have to tolerate my hyper brother Newton, who use to pull me around by my tail when he was a pup.  I spend a lot of my day sleeping and looking at jake staring into space.

"E" is an Australian Shepard. Born of Annie and Skookum in Waccabuc, NY. His first adoptive family didn't work out so well. Because we moved next door to a psychotic neighbor and because he is such a good watch dog, Mommy use to borrow him for protection while "My Daddy" was on business trips. I could have handled it, but I'm a lover not a fighter. Then after "My Daddy" returned he would get sent back to whence he came. Well the borrowing thing during one trip turn out to be a permanent thing. It just so happens that the other families mommy was a bit coo-koo and wanted to really kill him. So My Mommy kept him and that's the story on how we got that "E" thing. "E" is socially unacceptable and basically wants to protect his family from pretty much anything and everything that has two or four feet, feathers, fur, fins, hooves and tires. Animate or In-Aminate objects all the same, it didn't matter. "E" has even been known to bite the legs of a copper dog statue outside of the veterinarians office. Well that give you a good idea of what I have to put up with. Between Jake the wonder mutt and "E" the terror, I have my little fuzzy paws full. -

Because Newton is know longer with us in body, he is channeling Asia's story through his daddy.  Asia is a little fluffy black chow type dog, not all chow but mostly. Because Mommy has a pet sitting business she gets to see and visit all sorts of dogs around town. One of her customers owned Asia (but at the time was called Emma) and little Emma didn't get along with them especially the daddy of the other family. So mommy adopted the little fuzzy chow dog. Mommy and Daddy figured in order to give her a fresh start she needed to have a new name. So because chow dogs come from the Asia Pacific region of the world "My Daddy" decided just to call her Asia. -
